.AVI no audio with QuickTime or I-DVD?

I just burned a .avi to DVD using I-DVD i noticed how it didn't play audio on Quicktime or I-DVD, I was hoping the audio would be on the DVD but no audio on DVD either, however audio is on it, because it has audio on VLC player.


whats up with this? is there a way to fix it?
