N ner Guest May 12, 2008 #2 because your dvd player is not capable of reading .avi files try this. grab a blank dvd-r pop it in your dvd writer.. open NERO burn your movie into a DVD format. (do not burn it into a data disc format..) then play it in your dvd player.
