I used to be on Roaccutane.....it worked great, but I was left with scars from the acne, I am using Avene Diacneal..it is a french product that is supposed to smooth your skin surface...but I am getting alot of little bumps, as if it were clogging my pores...those any one know anything about this product and how to apply it at night.
Also if anyone have any alternative product that I could use to get to treat the scars and also to treat acne.
Thanks!!

If you are getting bumps this means your skin isn't liking the product. My suggestion is to keep it simple. I've had mild acne since I've been a teen and now (in my 40s) I've discovered how to control it. I tried Proactive but while it did help me, it dried my skin so much that it started giving me fine lines. I decided to go with something more gentle. I use Origins Checks and Balances to wash my face (this is amazing...skin feels very very clean), I tone with their toner United States and then I use what they call the Guardian. Since I've been using these, I'm not breaking out. I also got the "spot remover" that you put on a pimple and it flattens it our in a matter of minutes. I love this place!!! I can't believe that I never heard of it until I walked in and they gave me a free mini-facial (I was a little scared). I am hooked. You should try them...and not use such harsh things on your face because there is the price to pay...you look older. Yikes. Hope I've helped.

Try Nutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Defence Lotion.... 2% salicylic acid, it unclogs pores, and may well help your scars.... apply it in the morning after washing your face
