Avatar: The Last Airbender #3: "Air, water, earth, fire... fan and sword!"

yeah saw those pics before they got taken down, i'm just hoping for more of them. hopefully the next Entertainment weekly issue will have something. at least before the full trailer comes out and i can't wait for that either!

I saw the teaser/trailer and, I guess it's just me but I wasn't as impressed as the rest of you. But I do also hope the movie as a whole is better than the little teaser and if it is, then we'll get that second movie and some Toph (plus "Ozai's Angels". ;))

Ooooh! I love those pics, Allison! Wow, I didn't think I'd get so excited but here I am getting all giggly. :D (Helps that I'm in a good mood already).

Lostpinguin, I'm also starting to warm up to Dev as Zuko and I'm really curious about Appa and Momo. :)

Over on Distant Horizons (an Avatar forum I like to check out) they’ve got an “official” petition, which I signed a while ago. :) They also have the address of Nick studios if you want to write them a letter to plead for an Avatar soundtrack (I think the Nick execs are seriously considering it, according to the most recent site news.)

Direct link to the online petition

Nick Studio's address:
Nickelodeon
1515 Broadway
New York, NY 10036

Nick Studio Phone (New York)
General Offices:
Voice: 1-212-258-7500

This is the closest to thing to E-mailing them: Write to Nick

Their offices are in NY? I'm totally gonna go badger them if I get enough time (and nerve)!

I hope these pics I found don't get taken down (I think Paramount doesn't want them to be shown so soon) but here's Sokka and Katara.

I'm still not sure how I feel I about them...

Couldn't have said it better myself, Hestia. I want the movie to be awesome, but I also don't want to get my hopes up.

Oh, and I finally saw Harry Potter. I went with my sister and made a throwaway comment about hoping to see The Last Airbender trailer and ended up explaining the entire Avatar series to her. She seemed vaguely interested, so I might have someone to go see the movie with me.

^ The Blue Spirit story, along with Yue and the Kyoshi warriors are definitely going to be in the movie, according to the trailers. With about two hours to squeeze in fifteen-twenty possibly relevant episode plot points... well I'm also wondering how much time they'll be devoting to the Blue Spirit side story.

I knew we had our shared similarities. Sharing support for CoCo is way better than sharing support for ships to me. I'll just be watching Stephen Colbert's coverage of the Olympics (and check a little sports blog I know). Looks like the U.S is doing really well so far.

They canceled Southland? (Ooohh, but it's been revived on TNT. Okay, I was gonna say that I saw aRAB about new episodes somewhere... :look:)

Meanwhile I can't believe the actual Blue Spirit mask escaped me. I think it must have been in one of the really dark scenes. I'll have to double check when I have more time. Maybe make a screencap.

Oh my God I just really love this Avatar cartoon.... Aang and all his frienRAB and their adventures from learning the bending techniques of the 4 elements and to stop the Fire Lord in conquering the entire world.

I watch all the seasons and it's episodes. Sometimes I forget to eat and do my freelance works when I watch this before hahaha

Slumdog Millionaire is amazing. I highly recommend it to everyone. And Dev Patel has some major acting chops. He'll probably be able to pull off Zuko, but I just can't get over the fact that he would be a better Sokka. He just seems to have a Sokka-type adorableness.

^ It seems we are forever shipping in different circles. But I do concede that Jeff/Annie is terribly adorable. :) (I think that with every ship I get closer to your POV. Like with ATLA, I cannot see Zutara, with Ugly Betty I like Daniel and Betty's frienRABhip, and now with Community I can really see the cuteness of Jeff/Annie. Also, Harry Potter, I almost shipped Harry and Hermione but then I heard about the ending so I spared myself the heartache and I like them as frienRAB; it helps that I don't tempt myself with online stuff like fanfics and fanviRAB... okay, maybe one or two fanviRAB. :look:)

I would think so. The first one did quite well in theatres, I heard.

I decided to buy hubby Book 1 of the cartoon Avatar for Christmas. I hope he likes it. :glow:
