Avanto on TX

Im a new TXer. My favorite program: Avantgo, dosent seem to work. Hotsync freezes up on the "Connection sucessfull" screen.
Any body had any experence with this? :confused:
 
It works great on my T|X, so the problem isn't your device.

Try deleting it, then reinstalling it. I've had problems in the past, and reinstalling has always solved the problem.

I feel better already that Avantgo is possible on TX. I synced AG by itself through my BlueTooth phone. and it worked fine. Problem is when I try to hotsync it, It freezes
 
I have not installed Avantgo on my TX yet (still installed on my Handera 330). From your post, it is myy understanding you installed Avantgo on your older PDA. So then, is is it possible that you installed the new code on your TX but did apply an update to the PC (updating the older version)? My thought is that you may have two different version levels that don't want to play well with each other.
 
Make sure that you are using the latest version its 5.7 I believe, I sync Avantgo everyday sometimes 2x, wirelessly on my T|X without a hitch, I can lay in bed at night, connect to my wireless router (2 floors below my bedroom), sync avantgo, and read the updates in bed, the only thing I find is that after you sync avantgo, you have to turn off wifi, otherwise everytime avantgo goes to load a page, it goes back out to the internet and updates that page, if you turn off wifi, then avantgo will only look at the content on your handheld.......Rich
 
I finally figured out, that when I prevent the resident prgrams from loading. (hold the D button while warm reseting) My Avantgo works fine.

Now how do I figure out whch program is the culprit? :rolleyes:
