Avantgo Wireless Speed

Good Afternoon,

I have just installed the Avantgo client to my (Tungsten T3) handheld and the 1st wireless syncronization was painfully slow. It says "Saving updated Web pages to your device" (as we speak) and is on # 129 of 561 and has been syncronizing / saving for quite some time already.

Will this be quicker next time around? Or are there some settings I'm missing?

I AM saving the pages to my SD Card (if that makes a difference).

I use Avantgo to get daily news, etc. at synch. I have discovered that the process does go quicker after the initial use. I would suspect that during the initial use, foundation files are downloaded, hence use after the initial use would be faster.

Via cradle or wireless?

I'm trying wireless and wonder if that's the issue .......... I'll let you know after i try again. Haven't had time yet.

Has Avantgo gotten any better about being able to sync between two computers (both work and home)?

As I recall, when I use to sync Avantgo, I was never able to sync between two computers without errors.

It's been about a year though.
