...those special keys. My friend sa? I want to make a copy of the key . I only have one set. Do I need both sets to make a copy?? How do I get a copy of the one key? What are my options? My friend said that I need both copies to make a copy. Is this true?

Here's the straight scoop. If the head of your key is thicker than a regular key and gray in color, then you have what's called a SKIM key (Sentry Key IMmobolizer). It keeps thieves from starting your car without the correctly programmed key. If you need another key, you can get one made at the dealer, or a locksmith who handles these programmable keys. The key will have to be cut and programmed to the car.
