Automatic jeep wrangler having trouble shifting?

No matter how warm i warm up my jeep everyday, it has trouble shifting by itself sometimes, when i come to a complete stop at a stop sign or light, pushing on the gas just revs up the engine then jumps like a fast boost, from outside it might look like i have a souped up engine, but it just sticks what should i do to fix this problem?
