I'm trying to dimension a line in autocad in architectural style so the dimension looks like 50'- 0" for 50 ft. However when I dimension the line it comes up in inches 4'-2". But before I started I typed 'units' and changed it to feet. Then started the line and typed 50 to create a 50 ft line right? Why when I dimension it still comes up as if it were 50 inches. Can someone please give me the steps to draw a 50 ft line and dimension it so it reads 50'-0". thanks
