I am wanting to know how to remove a valve cover bolt and an upper intake bolt.Both are broken flush with the matting surface. Is there a specialized type of drill bit that you have to use? I purchased a kit from the auto parts store but had no luck drilling the bolt, I could not even get a bite to start.
One thing I could think of was the cordless drill I was using did not have very strong RPM, It is the only drill that I have right now.
Remember these bolts on the engine are reinforced grade 8 bolts.
Do you have to use cutting oil like you would when you are using a Tap And Die Set?
