Authors who are blind from birth?

I think it would be very interesting to read a book by someone who has never seen. One of the great aspects of literature is to see the world from a different angle then your own, and someone who has never seen must perceive it so much differently from myself. So, does anyone know any such authors?

only one I know of is Homer, writer of the Illiad and Odysee. He is believed to have been born blind.
