Though I like her Chicago Stars series, I don't like them as much as her older novels like Glitter Baby and Fancy Pants. Those to me had more substance, character development, and time for the main characters to know one another.
Are there any other authors out there like that? I wish for some books in which the hero and heroine know each other for more than 2 secs before jumping into bed together. Or who's thoughts are only consumed with only their attraction for one another. I've read too many romance novels like that.
I've also read lots of Nora Roberts, she is one of my favs, but her books seem a bit repetitive after reading so many. Help please?
