I'm a huge Meg Cabot fan, and I read her YA series when I was in high school. Now I've gotten through all of her adult novels and I'm looking for authors similar to her in writing style, content, and wit. Any suggestions?
I guess the appropriate description of what I'm looking for would be "chick-lit," but I'm not a fan of the really cliche, run-of-the-mill type novels. You know, the paperback ones that bored moms read? Yeah. Not those.
