australian army ranks and jobs help and information?

i am looking to join the royal australian army and i was going to be a rifleman but i was trying to aim a little higher... i want to be hands on in close combat but be the highest rank possible.
see i would like to be in charge or a team leader in a squad of soldiers in close combat
so what is the specific job, rank and name of this position
what is a detailed description of this and any other helpful info would be great
