So i was planning on joining the AUS army last year (when i finished school with my mate) but there were a few things that made me change my mind. My mate joined and told me what he saw. Firstly, i'm a muslim and my ethnicity is afghan. I thought it would be sort of a problem but damn i never thought it would be that bad. I saw the majority of troops online talking shit about muslims and arabs. Calling them sand niggers and stuff. Some of the troops thought they were in Afghanistan for revenge - what losers. So forget that, i decided not to join. Probably go through hell for 3 years before i could leave. Did i make the right decision? BTW i'm at uni at the moment and studying a bachelor of policing.
