The funeral is in Ill. and I live in Texas, haven't seen the aunt in 10+ years, family not happy with me for not making last to family funerals. Got credit cards but allready owe alot. What do I do?

were you and your aunt close?? if yes, then go..if no, then it shouldnt be THAT big of deal.

I'd say pass. I know how it feels not to be able to pay your respects. I wasn't able to go to a few funerals, my favorite uncle, my grandfather, due to no money. Bottom line is, they're gone. I know you'd like to be there with your family through this, but ask yourself, what is it going to do to your immediate family if you DO go and would your aunt want you jeapordizing your life? She's gone now, she doesn't know one way or the other that you're there or not. Hopefully your family can understand financial crisis.
I'm sorry for your loss. I know how much it hurts. Unfortunately life goes on for those of us left behind.
