I mostly need help looking for a monologue. I'm trying to get the part of Mr. Mushnik. I need to find a 30 second comedic monologue. I want one that I can do something with it so I can stand out to the director (you know what I mean?). I am an experienced actor, so I can do a lot of things, it's just I've never actually auditioned with a monologue before.
You don't have to give me song ideas, but the would also be helpful. I am a baritone. I can push a tenor song, but Mushnik isn't a tenor. This is my range:
Low: F an octave below the one right below middle C
High: F right above middle C.
Mushnik Never really sings that high, but just giving you my range.
I'd rather have someone answer this question who knows the show or character. That would be best. Thank you!!
