Audiovox 8910- a good choice?

I am in desperate need of a pay as you go phone- so I am debating about getting this 8910 asap through virgin mobile. Does anyone have this through virgin? Is this a good investment- good performance in general?

My other choice is the nokia2125i, but I am mostly interested in it's general performance as a phone and I don't need it to do anything fancy. I'm low on funds so that's why I'm choosing pay as you go with virgin, now the question is really, which phone?

I have an 8910 from bell mobility and it works good. I've had mine for a year and a half now, and the only problem I really have now is the battery signal kinda just does it own thing, it will say 1 bar, but it will stay on that for a few days and actually be fine. Ringtones (true tones) that you download and pay for..sound ****ty, ringtones you make for yourself play a lot clearer on the speaker.

Um overall its been good, ive used it at work, dropped it a bunch, and its been durable, so thats my review, good luck with your purchase.
 
yes i have one...if you look down at the other posts...lol... my daughter had thrown it in a bathtub, and it was broken immediately. :sad: i let it dry out for a few days, and it worked, except the sound. i got really :flamemad: mad :flamemad: , and i banged the phone on the table. voila! :ah: the sound has never worked better. :laugh: so yes. 8910 is a good choice. lol.
