I am about to buy a new faceplate for my 8900 phone and i was just wondering how i go about takeing off the old one and if there is anything i should be extra careful of while doing it?
*Turn off the phone
*There are 2 small rubber plugs at the top corners aroudn the screen and 2 small round stickers at the bottom corners. Remove them
*Unscrew the 4 screws underneith them
*With a small flat screwdriver carfully pry pop the faceplate off my going around it, make sure to lift faceplate straight off
*pop on new faceplate and replace screws and caps
Be really careful with that. I use to use a flat screwdriver and the corners of both the faceplate and phone would get scratched up. Try using a thin card, like a credit card or something. Everytime I used a card, no scratches at all :thumbsup:
