I have a Harman Kardon AVR 65 going to Bose 201 speakers. When I try and play audio from any source, in any mode, I hear from the speakers a whining noise? The pitch itself is Eb4 or about 311-312hz. The volume of the whine changes with the volume of the receiver. But here's my second problem: I have to turn the receiver and source volume all the way up to get a normal listening level for the music (and the signal is pretty weak, very little bass or oomph). And when i turn up the receiver, I get the whine noise. Both the speakers and receiver are sitting on glass desk. I am new at this so I am unfamiliar with the concepts of grounding and such.
Also, I am only using two speakers, Front Left and Front Right. No center, subwoofer, or surrounds.
