I can only say that there is no such a thing as a "cop killer bullet"
that phrase is pure political and only used to try and take away ammunition from the citizens.
Only criminals kill cops. The gun did not do it. The bullet did not do it. It was the bad guy,or gal that is to blame.
I wish everyone would take a second and think about what you are saying. Guns do not kill people. People kill people. A gun is just a tool, no different than say a ball bat or a knife.
Almost any thin sharp knife will penetrate body armor,do we call them cop killer knifes? Of course not. Come on folks lets stick together on this or we will end up losing our 2nd amendment rights to these nuts.

Never knew general public could ever get hold of Armor Piercing Ammunition? Self defense Ammo, Yes. Started decades ago with the introduction of Teflon coated bullets that were soon restricted to law and Military. Other offerings that are classified, and not at the hands of general public. Propaganda is a Media bias. Unless the bullets being fired are biased and Nano tech based how would it differentiate a Police officer, criminal, terrorist, citizen, etc? Eric Holder is not a very good choice of position and will use the Media to his agenda. All this hype about getting guns off of the streets parallels Cro Magnum thinking that they are at news stands or vending machines. Terminal ballistics are what a cartridge has the ability to do at range, velocity, and force. You cannot stop a freight train at full run , incidents occur. Simple physics and science, not malice. I despise the catch phrases. Like telling me the Earth is flat when I know it is round.

"Cop Killer" bullets are bullets specifically designed to penetrate bulletproof vests. They serve no other purpose. There's absolutely no reason whatsoever to purchase them unless you intend to shoot them at some one wearing Kevlar or other protective devices.
 
It was ABC news in an article re: the Mexican problem, Holder mentioned the phrase. They will penatrate protective armor soldiers and cops wear.
 
They want to promote the agenda that guns and bullets are the criminals...not the innocent shooter.... he's a victim too.

We're all victims these days.
