Attn: Dealers "Insult to Injury"

Last week was tough for ALL the dealers I know here in San Antonio. A lot of changes were made and were still trying to figure out how the hell to make some money on the new comp. When I attend the corperate funcions I always here the same "You are the ones that got us here" "With out YOU guys we couldn't do it"

I'm absolutly livid today I've got customers bringing me in there phones with a text from corperate that says "Cricket values you as a customer & would like to give you a $5 discount on you next bill! Visit a full service cricket store to redeem. Exps 8/10. They sent out the same message last week.

Seriously WTF! They take away the first month, take away our ability to cash flow are retail store, keep the $2 we used to collect, we have no real inventory to sell, and expect all the deallers to send them some customers to a Corperate store for a $5 discount!!! Mean while Pocket (which we supposedly bought) is selling 29.99 phones with a free month. I'm losing 3-6 NEW activations a day with the new comp.... I here Rage Against the Machine in my head right now with thoughts of yelling "REVOUTION" and put my fist in the air.

Anyone else need to vent, or enlighten me on how wonderfull all the NEW changes have been?:doh:

To top it off Pocket is offering a free flash and free first month for new activations. Constant churn back in forth between Pocket and Cricket for sure. Seems Cricket should have just held out on their joint venture with Pocket. Any ideas on the direction of all this in the south Texas market going forward?
