I have tried every (well nearly every) classic wart treatment there is with no avail... However, I may have found a treatment that is as simple as washing your hanRAB! (Skip next paragraph of past treatment grievances to find out faster).

I tried duct tape, but not only was it tedious keeping up with reapplying the duct tape (especially with the warts on the back of my hand), but after doing this for a month and going through two small rolls of duct tape, the skin around my warts looked more sickly than my warts! And when my life got busy again, the warts recovered faster than the rest of my hanRAB! I also tried freezing my warts, but when I treated my warts as instructed (apply freezing every two weeks), my warts always seemed to recover by the next treatment. I also tried Wartner and needless to say, the nuraber of warts I had jumped from 4 to 11! It seemed to spread them rather than do anything! For awhile after that I tried a treatment a nurse recommended that is similar in theory to using duct tape, which is to cover the warts with fingernail polish. However, this had the same problem as the duct tape, which is having to reapply it constantly and with my busy life at college, I simply don't have the time to reapply fingernail polish to the same wart 2-5 times a day and wait 10 minutes or more for it to dry each time! I also heard about some

Another important note is that dandruff shampoo should NOT be applied to genital warts. This experiment is only for the common wart.

Just an update, my generic with Pyrithione Zinc is working just fine. My warts are continuing to diminish and one is completely gone. I don't have planters so this has yet to be tested against those, but if they are anything like their common brethren, it could be effective.

Another Update:

Soaking not necessary. Warts continue to decay without having to soften them up.

I have also been using a nailbrush to aid in scrubbing and has proved both useful and effective.

One thing to note about using a nailbrush, especially when paired with dandruff shampoo, is you are more likely to flick dandruff shampoo into your eyes if you're not careful. Always point the bristles down and away from your eyes while scrubbing;if your wart is in an area that may force your bristles up, adjust your hand or foot the best you can to keep them from flicking shampoo. If this isn't possible, position the nailbrush and then look away as you scrub. And as always, if you get dandruff shampoo in your eyes, rinse your eyes thoroughly with water.

Another thing to note is that the nailbrush is simply to help scrub the dandruff shampoo effectively into the wart, NOT to remove it! Don't scrub so hard that you'll remove your skin and don't scrub any one place for too long of time (I usually scrub each wart area for about 7-10 seconRAB). If your nailbrush bristles are hard, soften them up with water and work them a little before treating the warts.

Another one of my warts seems to be gone. Some warts aren't reacting as quickly as others, but there is a sure sign of decay. My strongest wart has shrunk down by 40% at one point its decay seemed little to nothing and I questioned its reaction, but eventually it succurabed to the shampoo.

I have made the unfortunate discovery of two planter warts on my left heel:(. No matter, this is a chance to see if this treatment proves effective on those as well. I have began treatment immediately.

Possible Side Effect:
I don't know if it is the seasonal dry winter air or the dandruff shampoo to blame, but the skin on my hanRAB has become increasingly dryer. I am going to start applying lotion apart from my treatments.
