attention unhappy tmobile users

if your unhappy I can tell you from experience that YOU CAN GET OUT WITH NO ETF!!!
I have been with T-mobile for about a year and have unlocked my 8320. I got fed-up with their csr's never knowing what is going on and no two ever giving the same information and finally left them.
I instructed their cancellation department that I was dropping them because of their recent change to the text messaging fee's.
They even allowed me to port my number before I canceled!

I've been with T-mobile for over 4 years now and have never had a problem with them. I love T-mobile.

It's nice that you got to change a situation you were unhappy with though.

I've been with T-Mobile for over five years now and have never had any major issues that they couldn't fix. I even had them unlock my pearl so that I had free internet. So wish you luck with whatever company you choose.

I've been with tmo going on years or so and I had 7 months left on my 2 year gig and went in a the csr said the best they could upgrade me to a curve was $367.00 but advised me to call their 800 number. I called got $20.00 knocked off my monthly charge upgraded to the 8320 and they gave it to me for $125.00. I am not complaining at all love T-Mobile

I really like them as well, especially with a bb. the curve they offer has WiFi, was very important to me at the time of purchase, their data rates are very very reasonable and I, like everyone else have had great luck whenever I spoke with their reps. I used to kind of think tmo was the butt of cell phone industry jokes, but in my opinion they certainly aren't anymore. To this day, you can even MMS on their smartphones, unlike some of the other providers I've been reading about here on this forum. Good job tmo.

I ended up with My Faves, 1000 minutes, unlimited Data, unlimited text for $75 a month. I'm thinkin you are just not going to beat that anywhere

i'm glad that you are now happy. just for the FYI though. the price changes only apply to people that activate after that date. so considering you activated WAY before. they do not apply to you. what was on your contract when you signed it is what you get. so there was nothing for you to worry about in the beginning anyways. but none the less i'm glad you got everything solved.

free internet??? wish i understood how that works....
and for the record the main reason i left T-mobile is
i set up the account originally as a flex-pay account...I was told by the account rep who set up the account that after 1 year i could convert to a post-pay account...
when the one year mark came about and i inquired about how to do this, low and behold i found out i was lied to....noooo a sales rep who lies....go figure..
well upon finding this out and realizing they had no desire to keep me as a customer because they made no effort to even work on it that is wht made up my mind.
reason for wanting post-pay
hot-spot@home
with flexpay you can use UMA but dont get the free minutes while on UMA
they deduct your minutes anyway

I had Tmobile for 7 years and finally had enough and went to AT&T. So glad I made the move. The reason why I left was the quality of service for me went to far down to be acceptable. I was only getting 2 or 3 bars in my appartment where I never had problems before and my battle with UMA for 6 months prior really left me very unhappy. Constant dropped calls or the other side couldn't hear me or all I heard was static. I had 3 lines with them and had problems with all so it wasn't the phone like they kept insisting.

Sure they have good (not great anymore) customer service, but so far so has AT&T. And the signal is amazing. It has never gone below 4 bars. Even places I never could get signal with Tmo I have full signal now. So speaking for myself I am extremely happy that I made the move.

That's my Tmobile experience in short.
