Attempt to reduce medication

I had a heart attack 1992 then a PE followed by an elevated heart rate with missing beats. During this period I was diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic with the need to inject insulin twice a day and told I would need to do that for the rest of my life. Early 2006 I started to eat less, exercise more and increased my blood glucose monitoring which allowed me to eliminate food that raised my glusose levels higher and for longer, within six months I no longer needed insulin or any diabetic medication and still remain that way with an HbA1C of 5.8. Many of my other medications have also been eliminated apart from Amiodarone ( will be reviewed after echocardiogram) digoxin, valsartan and warfarin. The collaterol damage of my diabetes was the heart attack and I think contributor to my pulmonary embolism and I now wonder if warfarin is still needed. Warfarin increases calcification of the arteries as it is a vitamin k antagonist which would seem to take you in the direction of increasing blood pressure requiring valsartan. I believe my diabetes is reversed to the point that as long as I maintain good blood glucose control that I should no longer be considered diabetic.
Curently I am exploring alternative medicine with allicin, fish oil,CoQ10 and a plant based diet goal zero conventional medicine. An aside from consultant was that Digoxin may be the next to go, so I have hope.
