I have been using my iPhone 3G since it was released 2 years ago. I became use to it and really like it but there are some things that I'm not happy with. It tends to freeze a lot and gives me all kinds of problems. I also don't like its lack of customization.
Continuing on, I am not sure about getting the iPhone 4. I have heard that it has had some problems upon its release which isn't a good sign. I've looked at reviews and comparisons with it pitted against the Samsung Captivate and it seems every review favors the iPhone. With what I read the advantages of the iPhone 4 are its FaceTime, Bigger App Store, and its camera flash.
A lot of reviews praise the iPhone 4 on its FaceTime, but the problem with that is it only works with other iPhone 4 users. I only have maybe 2-3 friends who have an iPhone 4 which makes that function pretty useless, because I'd mostly just text that person. The flash on the camera isn't that big of a concern for me because I rarely take photos in the dark. The only thing that matters to me is the bigger app store.
I'm leaning towards the captivate right now but I want to see any personal reviews anyone has for either phone.
