First off, I want to say that i loved the phone before I upgraded from froyo to gingerbread.
When I updated a few months ago the phone immediately started acting strange. It would occasionally freeze up, the vibrate feature was sporadic, apps would crash randomly...none of these happened before the update.
Perhaps the most annoying of all these issues is a problem with text messaging. Seemingly at random, when I go to backspace something in a message, it will freeze and then bring me to a "delete message by selection" menu. If I hit the backspace more than one before noticing the freeze, the menu will pop up as many times as i hit the backspace, and i have to cancel each one.
When I go back to the text message the keypad will not show up and i have to exit the conversation and re-enter to finish the message. This problem continues to this day.
Needless to say, this is beyond annoying, and it happens with almost every message i try to send.
Anyone have a similar issue or any possible solutions? I'm considering reflashing the phone back to froyo.
