I would hazard a definite guess as NO.

My Doc told me i shouldnt ever drink while im taking antidepressants let alone the day after you still have alcholhol in your system. I would think it would be dangerous.

I have drank on my anti depressants and my beta blockers with no ill effects. Not saying i condone it, and everyone can react differently. I just wouldn't do it all the time since the alcohol is probably still in your system and it can be hard on the liver. You might also feel drunk again if the alcohol is still in your system. Then again people wake up hung over and take aspirin, which is also terrible for the liver.

About the ainti- depressants though,The main reason doctors tell you not to drink on anti depressants is if you take them for depression, since they can make you feel even more depressed the next day. Plus it will pretty much negate what the anti depressant is trying to do to help you. They can also add to any bad side effects and make you feel more drunk with less alcohol ( never happened to me though)

Ironically, I had to stop drinking many years ago. Because hangovers gave me the worst anxiety ever! And yes, I did take Xanax the next day when I was hung.
Now many years later, I don't over drink the way I did in my youth, so my hangovers are not as severe, and anxiety provoking.
If you are having really bad anxiety while hung over, its might be time to consider a change in your behavior.

Just my 2$
