...debate for anything else? For centuries, and for centuries to come, people have been going back and forth finding proof and denying proof about Christianity.

And as it stands, it's the only religion in the world that people have spent so much time and effort on proving and disproving.

So I ask, why is this?
see that's what I'm talking about "what proof".

Do we need to get Chris in here?
 
A better question is: if people have been trying to prove Christianity for centuries, why are they still unable to come up with anything?
 
in america, it is because christianity is the most popular religion. so naturally it is the biggest opposer for atheism and other smaller religions here.
 
Because your religion has corrupted the world more than any other religion has. Your religion has ended indigenous cultures, been the building blocks of empires (British, American, Roman, etc), infiltrates the government, and keeps 1/3rd of the world from seeing the scientific facts.

So kinda the same reason our government gives Islam so much attention in the middle east.

However, your egocentric ideas aren't quite correct: we will also actively debate Muslims, Mormons, whoever, on the topic.
