Atheists, why do you always discuss God but never any other religion?

I'm sure there are atheists that don't believe in anything and honestly even though I'm not atheist and believe in God, I rarely hear about them.

I usually hear someone say "I'm atheist and I don't believe in God." and I go ok, that's you. Then they say "but I do believe in Buddha or Krishna" and I'm like now I'm confused.

I thought atheism was a broad belief in the nonexistence of deities, not just the Christian God. But the Christian God is the only one that ever gets attacked. I never hear anyone ever having debates over Buddhism or Hinduism. It's always Christianity this and Christianity that.

Now correct me if I'm wrong but is this just outright opposition to the Christian religion being deemed as atheism by those who may really be agnostic?
1.I don't have a problem with atheist. People are people
2. I do believe in God and lot of people that believe in God do bad things too and try to be fundamentalist and promote the wrong message of the true love of God. I know that also
3. I'm not trying to attack anyone I'm just asking a question
4. I know Christianity is brought up A LOT so it's talked about a lot.

And if you think this is a stupid question why answer it?

Perhaps it's because the Christian deity is so popular and gets talked about more in general. I don't think Buddhists have a God in the same sense (an almighty creator). They think that a normal human worked it all out.
