I've noticed in a lot of theists v. atheists questions that when an atheists defends their position as to why they're an atheist and why science makes more sense than the bible, those atheists have made up great arguments to defend their position. They've came up with something intellectual to say and defend science. On the other hand theists have always said, "do you know i can prove god exists, it's in the bible". Theists always ONLY refer to their bible or other religious texts. They don't come up with intellectual arguments as to why their position is the logical position. They just refer to their books. They say "but it says right here, here i'll quote it from the book". Why not come up with a sophisticated argument instead of referring to a religious text? Instead of using the book, why not just use your head?
