existence of God. Have you explored them? One that comes to mind is the Indian philosophy of Vedanta which says that there is nothing that is not God. You are God, I am God, yes, your cat is God. There is only One without a second. But the point of my question is...have you explored the various philosophies that argue that God exists? I am not talking about some born-again starry-eyed neighbor you wish would leave you alone. I am talking about some of the centuries-old philosophies that have come to us from some of the great thinkers of history. By the way, I am not from India but have been very interested in the Vedanta philosophy which originated from there and it seems compatible with science. But it does recognize the source of existence as coming from a singular source which by their terminology is "Brahman".. What do you think? Have you explored the various philosophies?

Your question presupposes a definition of Atheist and a definition of God.

You will find that most atheists reject the notion of a personified God, but not the possibility of "realities" or "forces" that transcend existence itself.

Now we come down to linguistics. You specifically use the word "exist" to describe God. Existence means being subject to the laws and limitations of space-time, particle and wave physics, probability, etc. Being "God" means not being subject to those things. Therefore, God does "Not Exist" or, to clarify, would be outside the realm of existence.
