genuine, directly answered prayer? I'm just wondering what you think about this little answered prayer I experienced lately, since I often see people on R&S asking for examples of directly answered prayer:
Okay, so my house was freezing cold the other night so I filled the bathtub up with really hot water and stuck my legs in and read my book (Persepolis... so good). I could hear my kitten (6 months) throwing himself against the door the whole time. After I decided to get out, I opened the door and put the kitten up on the ledge of the bathtub. He was walking around, looking down at the water and being so cute.
I really wanted to push him in
-D) but I just couldn't bring myself to do it because I didn't want to break his trust. So I prayed to God to pleeeease make him either fall into the water or jump in...
and the kitten jumped right into the water!!! I was extremely delighted and counted it as a very directly answered prayer.
