Atheists, how do you respond to this Christian argument?

It doesn't matter if you claim there is no empirical evidence for God because empirical evidence cannot be used to prove most things. Empirical evidence cannot even prove you were born. Who's to say your birth certificate is a fake and you weren't spontaneously brought into existence? You can't prove that didn't happen. You have FAITH it didn't. Empirical evidence should not be used when it comes to deciding whether or not there is a God because the standards are too high.

If someone truly thinks that you may have magically popped into existence and that is their best evidence for the tribal god of a Bronze Age desert-dwelling, semi-nomadic, shepherding people...I just walk away and don't engage.
