Atheists, do you ever worry about being harshly judged by theists who know that

you are atheists? It seems kind of bold to openly admit your lack of belief to largely religious societies that seem to stigmatize people simply for having beliefs that are different. Maybe it's not such a problem in developed countries other than the United States, but it seems like places with more religious people, like in the United States like to play kick the atheist, huh?

Yeah, I do, actually. It doesn't stop me from being honest about my beliefs, but people can definitely be extremely vicious about it.
