Atheists and Christians: Is god really good? Your opinion of these bible verses?

I have heard Christians try to justify this stuff. I think it is sick and not justifiable or acceptable in any way.
But I wanna see what others think. Is god really worthy of worship? Have a read of these then tell me your thoughts.

Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass." (I Samuel 15:2-3)

"And the LORD said unto Moses, 'Take all the heads of the people and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.'" (Numbers 25:3-4)

"And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. And there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead." (Exodus 12:29-30)

"And he smote the men of Bethshemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the LORD, even he smote of the people fifty thousand and threescore and ten men: and the people lamented, because the LORD had smitten many of the people with a great slaughter." (I Samuel 6:19)

"Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished." (Isaiah 13:15-16)

"And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain." (Deuteronomy 2:34)

"Every living substance that I have made will I destroy." (Genesis 7:4)

"I will ... smite Egypt with all my wonders." (Exodus 3:20)

"For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none like me in all the earth." (Exodus 9:14)
This is hypothetical, cause i know atheists don't believe in God. Just tell me if you think he is worthy of being praised and worshiped.
@Steve: Not all were enemies. Many were innocent. How can babies and infants be enemies of God? And why do they deserve to die?

Are you saying these kind of atrocities are okay?
@Omegan What are you talking about? I was asking out of curiosity. No offense was intended.
Also i notice you did not answer the question. I merely wanted to know if you think the above acts were justified and if god is really good.
@Turatle i watched that video and i see your point. I agree with that vid.
