...of Atheists propaganda? Te! he!? Yes, life is so much easier as an atheist
The camp is Atheist because th eorganisers say it is

The earliest definition of religion is from Johnson's Dictionary, which simply calls it "a system of faith and worship". Friedrich Schleiermacher in the late 18th century defined religion as das schlechthinnige Abhängigkeitsgefühl, commonly translated as "a feeling of absolute dependence".[9] His contemporary Hegel disagreed thoroughly, defining religion as "the Divine Spirit becoming conscious of Himself through the finite spirit."[10] Clifford Geertz's definition of religion as a "cultural system" was dominant for most of the 20th century and continues to be widely accepted today.

So the real question Do the Atheists have their own religion? and if so the claim that is stated in your question is untrue! It should read "Children's camp filled with Atheistic religous propaganda"

********* the promoters are NOT promoting it as an 'Atheist camp' *********

I have problems with an 'atheist' camp............although, it's not the organisers that are promoting it as such...it's the deists who are calling it that (perhaps they fear critical thinking and have to demonise any attempt to promote it)

from the 'daily telegraph' article "Its website claims the camp is for the children of 'atheists, agnostics, humanists, freethinkers and all those who embrace a naturalistic rather than supernatural world view.'"

I support the idea of a secular camp
I support the idea of a 'critical thinking' camp

I support the idea that people are encouraged to think and examine things for themselves, and it is just offering an alternative to the mass of christian endocrination camps which abound - especially in the US but also in the UK

Can you provide a link? I'm actually curious as to why a camp would be considered atheistic.
