Suppose someone is swinging a sword/bat. If it were to collide with another person, would it hurt more if it collided with the person at the beginning of the swing, or more towards the end of it?
I'm not asking whether the tip or the hilt of the sword/bat exerts the greatest force. For this question, let's assume that the area on the bat/sword which meets the person remains constant.
