I was just eating a tomato that was a little old and it tasted horrible! I thought is this even still good for me? I live in Alaska up here everything is shipped its to cold to grow most things so most of what we get is not as fresh as you would hope. It just got be thinking wondering does this hinder the nutrition? At what point is produce the best for you? Does it change? Does anyone know of any studies dealing with this? If so it sure would be interesting if you sent it to me. Thanks
