When did the game change regarding having children and rearing children? It seems nowadays that it is not really "worth it" to have children. Years ago children were regarded as a "necessity" and a "blessing"....something people just had to have. It was considered good for you if you had many children. Nowadays, it seems like children are more of a liability and a burden. It seems not worth it anymore. Does this have anything to do with the fact that children are raised differently now? Now it seems like people cater to every whim, put up with their screeching and whining and other bad behavior. Children nowadays just seem more annoying. When and why did having children become not worth the trouble?
