At what point does Verizon charge for their 'unlimited' data plans?

I've read that after you use 5gb Verizon may slow down your connection speed on the EV-DO network. Will they charge extra for using more than 5gb of data a month on an unlimited data plan?

I heard that slow down thing too also with Sprint.
I dont think anyone is willing to take the chance on a crazy bill.
I ran up my bill tetherin without unlimited,
and Sprint took it off and added unlimited for me

If you're referring to an Unlimited Data plan you'd have with a wireless device...it is truly unlimited. You aren't EVER slowed down and you aren't ever billed. Hence the name "unlimited".

They wireless tethering for your phone, on the other hand, does have a maximum of a 5GB cap...after that, they begin charging you.
