At what point do you find out the sex of the baby?

People keep asking me what I'm having so that they can start buying stuff for me. So what I'm asking is at what point during pregnancy do you find out the gender?
 
I found out at 18 weeks with my daughter. The general time frame is 18 - 20 weeks. But sometimes they can't tell if the little one has their legs crossed!! That happened to my friend the other day...
 
I was going to find out at 20 weeks but the little booger had it's legs closed, till this day I still dont know what it is, but from all the kicks and squirms I think its a boy :)
 
I was 21 weeks pregnant and there was no mistaking that we were having (are having) a little boy!
 
usually between 18-22 weeks is when they do the ultrasound to determine the sex, sometimes they may do it before then but it is less accurate. Good luck!!

They usually do an ultrasound around 18-22 weeks, usually at 20 weeks, and typically you can find out then if your baby is cooperative. :]
 
18-22 weeks.. if the baby cooperates you should be able to see the sex, sometimes the baby will have its legs crossed or just wont move into a position that the technician can see the genitals.
