At what age does it become inappropriate for siblings of the opposite sex to bathe

together? My son just turned 6 and daughter is almost 2 and they usually have a bath together (saves time and water!!)...

Is it time to stop? Is this a weird thing to do?
Holy jumpin! I didn't know it was that bad...

They've taken their last bath together...I want to keep them out of therapy as long as possible!

There is no age really where it will be time to stop. My brother and I used to bathe together also when we were kids! As we grew we stopped by our selves, since we started taking our own showers. Its not like you are going to keep bathing your kids until they turn thirty (lol!)! Just let time go, and your kids will stop bathing together, when they feel its right.

I have been baby sitting two siblings for three years now, the first year i started baby sitting them, they bathed together, and as they grew older, and more independent they took their own showers/baths on their own! They're now too embarassed to show themselves to anyone! When your little boy turns 7 or even sooner he won't want to take bathes with your daughter anymore!

If you really can't wait, and want to save water, than just bathe them seperatly, and teach your 6 year old son, to take showers/bathes alone :)!

best of luck!

i'd say 5. saves time and water lol. how are you going to afford their therapy bill. if you are that poor and lazy of a mother who knows how they will turn out. how much can a half a bathtub of water cost.

If your son is old enough to recognize and talk about the differences (and he is), then it's time to stop bathing them together. Your son is old enough that he isn't going to drown in the bathtub if he's unsupervised, so you can bathe your daughter first and then put him in the tub to play while you get your daughter ready for bed.

its prob ok if u sit there and supervise them. maybe not too much longer though. as long as u r there i think its ok.

Is it time to stop? yes Is this a weird thing to do? Yes My opinion is different than others. I think when your son or daughter can identified each others private parts. I think it's time to stop.
