Just curious. Suspicious looking men keep asking me how old my dog is and it's not out of curiousity.
I either ignore them or, if that's not possible, lie and say he's much older than he is.
I guess he's too old for them to be remotely interested in him then... thank god. Not that he'd leave my side without a fight!
I have unfortunately witnesses a dog fight myself. Don't tell me it's BS when I have seen it with my own eyes.
