AT&T screwed me...any ideas what to do?

My problem can be pretty much summed up in my letter to their VP.

Sorry...it's kind of a long read.

Cliff notes:

Got an account in 2004.
Upgraded phones, phone #s and address in 2005 at a Cingular store in a new city.
Instead of up updating original account, Cingular store guy creates a new account which was unknown to me at the time.
Find out today (3 years later) old account went into collections, while under the impression up until then there never was a 2nd account.
AT&T say's it's my problem. :flamemad:

Dear AT&T Wireless Vice President,
I have been a valued customer since 2004 when you Cingular

1. Did the guy give you a new # and inform you that your account# would change?
2. Did you get his name? (Get it and his CUID)
3. Have you talked to the manager?
4. Have you talked to the District Manager?

Usually if it goes up to the District Manager (try to get his/her phone#) they will work hard to resolve it. Managers and employees don't like to do much for customer service (I used to work in a store so I know the politics)
