AT&T phone help! (LG CU515 "PUK" number help!)?

This morning i tried to put a passcode on my phone so none of my friends could steal my phone and text my contacts. Now it is asking for my "PUK" number and i have no idea what that is, it never asked me to set a passcode so now i dont know what to do. Can anybody help?
 
Call AT&T customer care or get it from your online account:

Log into the myWireless Account section of AT&T web site.
Click on PHONE/DEVICE.
Click the Unblock SIM Card link.
Follow the instructions on the pop-up page.
 
dont do anything just call ur company and ask for it and they will give it to you. if you try to guess this it will lock ur phone and disable ur sim card so u will lose all contacts and stuff. just contact the company.
