Ok I'm way over my head when it comes to cell phone companys but I'm hoping that the yahoo community will be of service to me.
Ok I know for a fact that my family is getting my sister and I iphone 3GS for christmas and since there are a few of us in the family I'm trying to figure out the cheapest way for them to get them.
I'm currently with AT&T i'm an add a line through my grandmother, and my sister is with T-Mobile(and just plans on dropping them when she gets her phone after christmas) but while on AT&T i saw that if you buy a plan Iphone 3G its only 99 dollars and that if you add a line with a Iphone 3GS that your total (plus the unlimited message, the Iphone data plan and the 1000 family talk time) is 299.00.
But if my sister and I do that then we'll both have to pay a cancellation fee (250 with AT&T 150 with TMobile) plus the plan (minus the costs of the phones which my family will pay us for)
But if i stay on with my grandmother and just add my sister on will it be cheaper? Even if we both have to add on the Iphone Data Plan?
I know that was really confusing but i have no idea what to do?
Any help would be wonderful!
