On the bar at the bottom where all my icons are located, there is a message bubble telling me I have one unread text message. This has happened before and I wanted to get rid of it so I did a hard reset. I don't want to do that again (especially since I just did it a couple months ago) because it's kind of a hassle to restore everything back to how I want it. I want to know what this message is (by the way, I've permanently deleted EVERY message on my phone, yet it still has that "one message" icon) and why it won't go away, and how to get rid of it.
I have one theory: I think it may happen when your phone sends itself a message. I don't know how my phone did that, I was typing a message to a friend (in the chat list thing, so I know it was supposed to go to that particular person) and then the icon popped up.
If anyone knows how to delete it without doing a hard reset, PLEASE let me know! Thanks!
P.S. I thought of doing a soft reset, but I'm not sure what that is.
