AT&T blackberry can the sim work with a verizon blackberry?

ok so my blackberry is the biggest fail of a phone EVER the keybored wont even work and today i got locked out my phone hahahahahah

my friend has a verzion blackberry that she dosnt want any more cuz shes getting the iphone

can i put my sim card in her phone and have it work ?
