give the height of the? at one time during the day a yardstick's shadow is 2 feet long. with this information, give the height of the tree if its shadow is 16 feet long?

okay. so i already know that the yardstick is 3 feet long. and that the height of the tree is 24feet.

i know how i got the 24 feet. because someone explained it to me...but they didn't mention how they got the 3 feet.

can someone please tell me how to get the 3 feet?
